Could someone do me a favor, pretty please? :-)
Would anyone be willing to calculate my husband's BMR? He says he is tired of gaining weight and really needs to take control, he sees me going to the gym everyday & 110 pounds and he is just ready to get himself in gear. The eating for him really isn't an issue as he eats what i make and i told him when i started my journey a year and a half ago that i wasnt making crap food for us anymore, lol....but his biggest issue is BEER. He LOVES beer but he says he is going to cut back a lot to only maybe a couple nights a week....anyway if anyone could do that for me it would be greatly appreciated :-) thanks!
He is 250 pounds & 6 foot 1...he is going to be going to the gym 3 or so days a week, maybe more...he is on his feet a lot at work, lifting things and such so i dont know how that will affect it? but i wouldnt say he is SUPER active ALL day.

BMR: 2394
Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week: 2394*1.55=3710
To lose 1 lb per week: 3710-500=3210
His ideal calorie range while working out 3-5 days per week is 2394-3210 calories per day to lose 1 lb per week.
Keep in mind, he will probably lose faster as he will naturally have more lean muscle mass, so you will need to recalculate his BMR after about 5-10 lbs lost.

Thank you very much!!
