Running is an excellent form of cardiovascular exercise. Running also strengthens your muscles, reduces the risk of Type 2 Diabetes, burns fat and calories, strengthens your lungs, increases your stamina and boosts your energy levels.
Whether you trot, jog or run anyone can do it. From Couch to 5k (C25K) for beginners to Marathon training for old pros, there is a running program/regimen for all levels of fitness.

My goal is to lose another 10 lbs to put less stress on my joints before I start running.
My running only consists of playing with kids at the park. I cant just go for a run. Ill never be one of those people lol.
Yes I do run about 15 -20 miles per week. I like doing races every now & then. It allows me to eat pretty much what I want & without gaining weight. No, I have not done couch to 5k, but have only heard good things about it.
