Hi, 

I'm a newbie...I delivered a healthy boy 4 weeks ago by c-section. I have to wait 2 more weeks before my dr will let me work out but I'm anxious to get moving and drop the pounds.  I have abut 12 more pounds to lose to get to my per- pregnancy weight. My favorite activity is walking/hiking. I don't want to "diet" per se as I am committed to breast feeding for my baby's first year.

Congratulations on your new little man!  Choosing healthy foods will make all the difference in getting your body where you want it.  Those walks and hikes will definitely help!  Do you have a carrier for your son?  I had an Ergo Baby, and it was awesome, and I could nurse in it, which was important to me. 

I eat clean, which I started while I was still nursing.  I have a journal with the basics here.  Check out kellymom.com and babyfit.com for some great info about losing weight and getting healthy while nursing.
