I'm really not sure I want to do this because I don't always do what I should but there in lies the reason to do it. I had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy (my littlest one is 6 months old) and I still had 40 pounds from my previous pregnancy on when I got pregnant with him. I know I need to lose this weight by my baby's 1st birthday and I have to get serious about it now. I'm 45 so that makes it that much harder. However I'm gonna give this a try and see if it makes me more accountable.

I'm starting at 185 pounds and need to lose 45 pounds to be at my pre-pregnancy weight from my 2 1/2 year old. I've told myself that when I hit that half way mark I'll get something done with my hair (thinking layering and maybe going blonde again). Anyway, here we go!

I weighed after breakfast this morning and I believe I weighed 177.5. I started Hip Hop Abs today and a lower carb diet. I'm not doing a no/low carb diet because I need my energy to keep up with my kids and I'm breasfeeding. I'm not counting calories but I am watching them. Meaning I pay attention to how many calories I'm taking in but not logging them. I took all my measurements today and I will measure again in a week. I like the Hip Hop Abs quite a bit. It's easy to do but I can feel my muscles working and they do get sore. I can do the workouts without getting bored. It seems like they go fast.

It's been a while but since our almost 10 month old decided he needs me to hold his hand and walk him all over the place, I can't get much done. I have managed to do Hip Hop Abs almost every day sinceI got it. After a week I lost 3 5/8 inches over all and this morning I weighed 174.8. I also got a juicer for Mother's Day and have managed to use it once a day since. I would juice fast if I had time.

I weighed 174.5 today. I haven't gotten to work out the last coupled of days. Today I did 40 minutes of Hip Hop Abs and I've been carrying my 20 pounder around this morning. I was going to try to juice all day yesterday but I think I had a little virus. I was increasingly tired throughout the day even after laying around while the boys napped for about 2 1/2 hours. I went ahead and ate at 2 p.m. and still continued to feel bad and got a headache. I felt fine waking up this morning. Well off I go to get little up from his nap and go some more.
