i am so sore =(

i did too much on my first workout.

i haven't stopped, but i have toned it way down.

my husband wants me to stop for a day but i'm scared if i do, then i'll stop for good.

Sore is good! That means you're working muscles that haven't been used enough. Just make sure you're stretching good afterwards. Ibuprofen can help with pain and inflammation. Ice if you need to. Make sure you're giving your body rest days though to recover. And keep up the good work :)

I agree sore is good. Pain is not good. But there is a difference between sore and pain. Before you workout don't stretch unless you have warmed up your muscles first (jog in place, butt kicks, high knees, repetitive squats) then stretch. And make sure to stretch really good after!! Do not skip stretching at the end no matter how tired you are.
Also make sure to eat plenty of protein throughout the day (to aid in muscle repair) and also right after your workout as well.
