I tried high protein/low carb and I gained weight the whole time.

The harder I workout, I seem to gain.

I lost my first 25 pounds while eating a potato almost every day. And a banana, gasp!

Counting points does not work for me. Sitting on my butt all day at work doesn't help me either.

"working out" like my kids, works.  :-)  Doesn't look like I do that much but it works.  I think it's about quantity rather than intensity; we do yoga, ballet, cross fit kids every day and we recently started doing sprints once or twice a week.
