February Accountability Challenge Day 6: Reward Yourself!
Welcome to Day 6 of the February Accountability Challenge
Being accountable in your weight loss/maintenance journey is going to be the key to your success!
Whether you are trying to lose weight or maintain your current weight, being accountable to yourself is where it begins.
Losing weight and then maintaining it takes hard work and dedication.
One way to stay accountable is to set up a rewards system that will help motivate you and remind you when you aren't meeting your goals. Each week or month or milestone, plan to reward yourself for meeting your goal with a small gift to yourself, such as a new book, a manicure or even just some 'mommy' time. If you fail to meet your goal for that period, then you miss your reward. It will hold you accountable and help drive you towards meeting your next goal.
Rewards should be something that makes you feel good about yourself or something you enjoy. Do not reward yourself with food or things that will sabotage your weight loss.
The ultimate reward is a healthier more fit you, but small rewards along the way are a good way to celebrate your successes.
