I'm Leah :) I'm 30 years old. I'm 5'5 and weigh 200 lbs. My weight goal is to get down to 140ish and stay there, but my ultimate goal is to lose the stronghold that food and laziness have over me. I want to enjoy exercise & choose healthy foods without even thinking about it.
I'm hoping this journal will remind me of each positive decision I've made. Seeing the numbers of replies going up might be just as exciting as watching the numbers on the scale go down :)
I'm going to need all the encouragement I can get - its been 9 years of negative attitude and self-talk and I'm over it!!

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs w/out the usual butter & milk, 1 bottle of water

Lunch: 1/2 Jimmy John's Beach Club and handful of JJ's "Thinny Chips", 16 oz of unsweetened black tea

Snack: handful of Thinny Chips, 16 oz unsweetened black tea

2 mile walk on the treadmill - AFTER I tried to talk myself out of it :)

A little much today ...
Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs, 3 pieces turkey bacon, 1&1/2 links turkey sausage, 1 slice buttered toast

Lunch - salad with egg, tomato, & peppercorn ranch

Later lunch - pb & j with handful of sun chips

Dinner - 1&1/2 BLT with avocado, 2 small helpings of egg mustard potato salad, dill pickle

And a very small slice of no bake cheesecake

But hey, I turned down the cake at a bday party! (Small victories)

Snack - 1 small gala apple

Water - 4 cups

Exercise - 40 min walk/jog = 240 cal burned

Lunch - 1.5 cups salad, 1 hard boiled egg, tomato, 2 tbsp peppercorn ranch
3 oz turkey burger w/cheese, tomato, pickle w/out bun or condiments
16 oz unsweetened black tea

Dinner - French bread pizzas (1/3 of French bread baguette sliced in half) with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, black olives

Dessert - angel food cake, strawberries, fat free cool whip

Tried to talk myself out of exercising ... Turned it around and talked myself INTO exercising. Woohoo!

40 min walk/jog = 260 cal burned
