Couch to 5k is a great program. There is a C25K for treadmill too.
There is a program called Couch to 5K. It is 8-9 weeks depending on which one you follow. If you have an android or iPhone, you can download the app and usually for free (at least for iPhone, I never looked on android). I have come across a couple adjusted for a treadmill, but it would be best for you to get outside and do it since that is probably where you will be doing the 5K.
As for doing other workouts I would say 30 Day Shred would help.
