I love juice, like hopelessly addicted to it. Since I am on a lifestyle change I know juice is off limits. So I switched to V8 splash. It delicious. I love it, but DH says it's just as bad. Is this true?

I think so, the second ingredient listed is high fructose corn syrup. There's not a bunch of calories but a lot of sodium and sugar. I think the v8 fusion drinks are a little better though

Unfortunatley, yes. If you're that addicted to juice, why not invest in a juicer and make your own?

Read the labels on everything and decide from there...both the ingredients and nutrition label.

It's not bad, but it is high calorie. And drinking your calories is not smart for weight loss.

It's not "good" for you, no. You are better off with something like Simply Apple juice or the like...

There's a lot of sugar and sodium like pp said. Have you tried making your own juice? My kids love homemade shakes and i put spinach or avacado in them. You could copycat the fruits and veggies list in your favorite flavors.

One thing ive noticed with "easy" foods/drinks that are packaged and supposed to be healthy, is the hight Sodium. Its something I have to watch but in general its not the best option.
