# BMR Help

I am eating too little calories and need help with my BMR. I'm 27, 5'6", 201lbs, not breastfeeding and work out 5-6 days a week (at least an hour of cardio, which is running or elliptical and an hour of lifting).

Also my mom is trying to lose weight and she eats only two meals a day and needs to up her calories. She is 49, 5'4", 212, and she workouts for at least an 30 mins to an hour of cardio (Zumba or the treadmill).

Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week ( 6 is for athletes): 1712*1.55=2653

To lose 1 lb per week: 2653-500=2153

Your ideal calorie range is 1712-2153 calories per day to lose 1 lb per week.

BMR: 1647

Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week: 1647*1.55=2552

To lose 1 lb per week: 2552-500=2052

Her ideal calorie range is 1647-2052 calories per day to lose 1 lb per week.

http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ once you find our your bmi then you can figure out your BMR :)
