I was reading Jillian micheals  "making the cut" and she said to find out your BMR and stick to it. Do you think that this is important and will this help me lose  because my BMR is 2127 and I barely eat 1500.So do you think this is one of the reasons that I can not lose weight?

Yes.  Your body needs to know it's going to get fueled properly before it lets go of it's fat stores.

Yes you need to eat your calories... Just like when you feel bloated you probably aren't drinking enough water.

Its almost counter-intuitive but if you don't eat enough your body goes into starvation mode and holds onto your fat.

Agreed.  You need to eat AT LEAST your BMR.  Is the 2127 before or after the Harris Benedict equation?

It is the eqation that I got..but that seems like a lot of calories to eat to lose weight..How many calories do you eat?

What's your height, weight, age, and number of days you workout each week?

5'7 weight 140 age 44 and I work out five or six days a week usually.

BMR: 1372 (bare minimum you should be eating)

1372 x 1.55 = 2127 (these are your MAINTENANCE calories)

2127 - 500 = 1627

To lose 1+ lbs per week, consume 1372-1627 calories per day.

So 1500 is within that range.  What are you eating?

well my food balance is  normal..some healthy carbs veggies protein..but my doctor thinks that it may be because of menopause because I will lose and not do anything diffrent and will gain it right back so I decided to try Ambrience to balance my hormones and we will see.
