I am such a cardio wimp! I get winded in like 2 minutes. I feel really stupid running 2 minutes, then stopping to walk. how did you get started?

I know this is going to sound like an easy work out but it worked for me.  I just had my DS 8 months ago and I am now running 5-10K's and running 5 days a week.  5 or 6 weeks after I had him i started out running 1 lap on a standard track (400 meters) and each time I ran i increased the distance until I got to 2 miles (8 laps on the track).  After that I started running trails and on the street/sidewalks.  I use to think people were watching and judging but just keep in mind they are there for the same reasons :)  Good luck with whatever you choose :)  Stay motivated...you can do this!!
