Spring Exercise Challenge Day 6: A Better Bottom ~BONUS DAY!

Welcome to day 6 of the Spring Exercise Challenge!

If you are like most women, you want to have a cellulite free, aesthetically pleasing bottom.
While an argument can be made that cellulite is hereditary, you can take steps to slow and prevent it. For the majority of women, when weight is gained, fat first deposits on the butt and back of the thighs, contributing to cellulite. You can help to combat this by eating a clean diet, cardio training and zone targeting exercises.

The best exercises to burn fat and tone your glutes (butt muscles) are:

  • Squats
  • Lunges
  • Bridges
  • Step-ups
  • Dead lifts

As shown in the video you can do an entire glute workout or just choose a few to incorporate into your daily workouts.

For today's challenge, do a complete glute workout. If you are a beginner, you can lessen the amount of reps you do.

No, mainly I walk, which helps lots of areas.

between pilates/ piyo and zumba - I pretty well have the booty covered ;)

there is also an isloation exercise I do once in awhile that I got from my belly dance class too for it

I've been doing squats and lunges. I have to do it a lot more often though. Must get this booty in shape asap! Lol

Love my lolo! They have an app for that too! I do all of those exercises...still a work in progress! I am seeing success...slowly but surely :)

I do lunges squat(going to try the 30 day challenge) and bridges mostly. I also run.

I do try to target my glutes. Its one of my husbanda favorite places on me. *grin*

My trainer started me on most of these exercises on Saturday, so I will be doing them again today. Thanks!

I can't do either lunges or squats because of my knees, but the other ones ( dead lifts and but lifts ) I can try .

I have a love hate relationship with squats. I love what they do for me, but I hate doing them. I'lthough I do try to incorporate them into my workout as much as possible. I also love lunges, but only because I've been doing them since I was a teen and did fencing.
