Spring Exercise Challenge Day 7: Love Your Legs
Welcome to day 7 of the Spring Exercise Challenge!
Are your legs warm weather ready?
Shorts season is almost upon us, let's get your legs toned and ready!
Firm, toned and shapely legs are the envy of most women. Luckily your legs are fat burning machines, so these results can be acheived!
Your legs contain some of the biggest muscle complexes in the body. When you do the right leg workouts your body will burn a lot of calories and increase your lean muscle mass.
Doing a lower body (leg workout) twice a week is recommended.
A great beginner workout would consist of the following exercises:
- Lunge jumps
- Deep squats (bodyweight only)
- Hip extensions
- Calf raises
- Wall sits
A great intermediate to advanced workout would consist of:
- Weighted step ups
- Barbell lunges
- Intense plyo
- Barbell squats
For today's challenge, customize a leg workout that suits your fitness level and needs.
