Welcome to day 8 of the Spring Exercise Challenge!

Having a strong lower back is important to overall good health and fitness.
Weak lower back muscles can contribute to debilitating pain and are prone to injury. While a strong lower back provides better support for your spine.

Working your lower back will not only strengthen but tone as well give you a sleek look. 

The following exercises will strengthen your lower back and help to keep you injury and pain free.

For today's challenge, do a set of lower back strengthening exercises.
Have you ever worked out your lower back?
Do you deal with back pain?
Were you aware of the importance of a strong back to avoid injury or pain?

I tend to slack in this area. I'll have to try these exercises at the gym tonight. I usually don't have lower back pain.

I do deal with some lower back pains at times. I will be doing these today!

Thankfully no back pain here.  These exercises look easy enough, I can try all of them later today. I love having a video to show exactly how it's supposed o be done. tfs.

Oh I needed these! I have been looking for something to help my back. I have back problems and working at a daycare, I'm picking up kids all day long. I will definitely be adding these to my routine!!!!!

I have a sacrum injury so i do several lowerback exercises. I do the first video with the legs but ive never done the arm portion so ill add that in, and ill try the other two videos! Thanks for the new tips

I have only ever had back pain during pregnancy thankfully.

I don't specifically work my back, but some of the exercises I do work the back as well. I do occasionally deal with back pain, but it's usually middle back, not lower. Yes I am aware of the importance of a strong core including the back.

DH and I could both use these exercises. We both have lower back pain, so strengthening our lower back would be great!

Great lower back exercises.  I dont work my lower back as and isolation exercise as much as I should so this will be new and interesting.  Thanks again
