Welcome to day 12 of the Spring Exercise Challenge!

Support your body and overall good health with lower body workouts!

As mentioned in a previous daily activity, your largest muscles are in the lower body. These muscles are essential in the movements you make in everyday activities.

The benefits of a good lower body workout include:

  • Increased bone strength
  • Improved balance
  • Increased stamina
  • Decreased risk of injury
  • Aesthetically pleasing
  • Burns fat
  • Reduces the physical weakness
  • Strengthens core
  • Stabilizes your body
  • Increases agility

This video provides you with an all over lower body workout with cardio for maximum effect.

I do lower body strength workouts 3 times per week. I also run at least 5 times per week, so I guess I'm kind of always working my lower body lol

I do lower body about 3-4 times a week. My legs and thighs are my target right now.

Lower body is part of my usual rotation. I try to go 3 times a week to the gym. Plus adding a 5k training and walks with my kids.

Im going to be doing some of the exercises in the video I currently know I am neglecting my lower half sooo I MUST do better
