Okay. I'm 4 weeks pp tomorrow. I lost all of my baby weight at 2 weeks pp, but I've gained back 2.5 pounds because I'm eating terrible! Time to start this journey!

What is the number you guys calculate for everyone?

I'm 5'3"
272 #
28 years old
I'm also breastfeeding

Also, is there a certain amount of fats/carbs/proteins I should try to eat?

Everyone is different, It depends on how active you are and whoat kinds of foods you are eating. Ive been where you are, I was 210 the day I gave birth to my 3rd child and 195, 8 months later when I started my weight loss journey (I'm 5'2") and have since lost over 70lbs :) Please contact me to chat or If you want to ask me anything at all. :) Good luck on your journey!!

BMR: 2002+ 500 (BFing)= 2052

Maintenance while working out 1-3 days per week: 2052*1.375=2821

To lose 1 lb per week: 2821-500=2321

Ideal calorie range while working out 1-3 days per week and BFing is 2052-2321 cals per day to lose 1 lb per week.

Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week: 2052*1.55=3180

To lose 1 lb per week: 3180-500=2680

Ideal calorie range while working out 3-5 days per week and BFing is 2152-2680 cals per day to lose 1 lb per week.

The macros depend on you and your goals.

Did you mean to add the 500 for breastfeeding onto the 2002, so it was 2502? I just want to make sure the numbers are right! Thank you.

Crap...see, this is what happens when I have not had enough coffee.. LOL

2502 is correct.. hang on...

2502*1.375=3440

To lose 1 lb per week: 3440-500=2940

Ideal range while BFing and working out 1-3 days per week is 2502-2940

Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week: 2502*1.55=3878

To lose 1 lb per weerk: 3878-500=3378

Ideal calorie range while BFing and working out 3-5 days per week: 2502-3378 cals per day.

Sorry!!! Someone needs to smack me in the head today.
