Treadmill "sea" legs

Is it normal to have "sea" legs after a treadmill workout? I just got a treadmill and I'm only walking right now (about 20min at a time, up to 3 times a day) My pace is fairly slow but it is faster than my normal stroll.

For me it is.  I walk with weights on and I think it makes a difference when take them off.  It is the same when I get off my stationary bike.

Yup.  I have to make sure I stand on the side of the machine for a minute and then walk very slowly at first when I get off the treadmill.  =)

Oh good! I was afraid it was something to do with pregnancy. I'm glad to hear it's normal for anyone :)

sea legs? You mean feeling wobbly? (I'm thinking that's what you mean)

I finish most longer runs feeling a bit like that. The exercise bike does it quickly for me.

It happens to me
Just walk lightly before getting off but you may still feel it

Yup, wobbly legs and the continuous motion (like on a boat then walking on land).

I get that when I've been running a long time. It goes away pretty quickly though. 😊

YES!  I totally get that!  I always feel like I'm walking around drunk!  LOL

Be careful walking with weights- that can throw off your form and increase your risk for injury.
