Bad things that have happened to me since losing weight.

Posted by   + Show Post

I have lost 42lbs since January 26th, 2013...

1. Clothes that I have saved since high school are beginning to fit me again.
2. Back pain can no longer be used as an excuse for why I don't want to be on top when DTD.
3. I have lost 4 inches in my boobs, resulting in new bras.
4. I am hurting the economy by not visiting fast food restaurants anymore.
5. Number 5 again, by using less soap because there is less body to cover.
6. Compliments throw me off because I'm not used to them.
7. I can't stop checking myself out in the mirror.
8. I actually enjoy going to the gym..when a few months ago I dreaded it.
9. Number 8 again, I feel guilty when I don't go to the gym.
10. Overexposer of sunlight because I would rather be outside than watching TV.

What are some bad things that have happened to you since losing weight?

Oh, I have a few!

I am a stinky girl, because chances are, I just finished a workout.  Or I'm wearing something I'm going to work out in, and it has Permastink.

I look like a homeless person, because I'm covered in dirt from trail running.

I no longer fit into any of my old favorite clothes, because I'm smaller than I've ever been in my life.

I'm going broke buying new clothes.  I'm very thankful for Goodwill!

I am often sore, which drives DH CRAZY when he wants to do dirty things!

I get more stares and attention from men.

DS can no longer out-run me, meaning he can't get away with as much.

I have ridiculous, crazy, all over the place tanlines from swimsuits, various running clothes, cycling clothes, etc.

I no longer enjoy the gym, because I can be MUCH more creative with my own equipment.  I have ALWAYS loved the gym, even when I was heavy, so this is WEIRD for me.  LOL

It takes me longer to run errands, because I have to stop at the park on the way to and from places to work on pull-ups.

Saggy boobs now that fat no longer fills them. Loose skin elsewhere, too.

I'm often up before the sun, because I sleep so well and get up early to get in my workout.

I have the confidence for short hair now, which DH isn't a huge fan of.  But it sure is easier.

I can no longer wear the shoes I got married in because they're huge on me.  Same with the knee high boots I saved up to buy.

I'll never wear my wedding dress again, because I could probably fit into it with my son.

I need new running clothes, because they're falling off of me.  This is getting expensive...

On a more serious note, DH still hasn't joined me on this journey, and it does make things more difficult.
