Question for my running mamas!!!
Do you run with traffic or against traffic when on the road where there is no sidewalk?
I run against traffic so I can always be aware of what is coming but I see a lot of runners, walkers, and bikers all going with traffic...am I doing this wrong?

I'm curious about this also. I run against for the same reason. Just feels better to me, but I often wonder if it's wrong.

I go against. But where I run, the road has cars going both ways and has so many sharp turns that it wouldn't matter which way I run because I wouldn't be able to see hardly anything when running those corners.

I was curious so I looked it up. From what I can tell you should run against traffic.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS run against traffic. But bike WITH traffic. Those are the rules of the road. The only exception for me is around a blind corner- if it's safer to be with traffic for that short time, I'll cross then cross back.
It's also better on your joints to run on the road than on the sidewalk, if you can do so safely.

Always run against traffic ( I run on base and there are signs that tell you this rule and you also must wear a reflector belt as well even in daylight)...cyclist ride with traffic and obey traffic rules
