Let me tell u a little about my self I am 27 I weigh 197 this is the heaviest I have ever weighed in my life its uncomfortable and not healthy... I have always struggled with weight but ever since me and my husband started trying for a baby back in February of 2012 I started gaining weight I was 155 then I don't know it its the stress cause it hasn't happen or I just stopped caring about my weight because I figured I am going to get fat anyways.. on February 2013 we got pregnant we were so excited but March 2013 we had a misscaraige :( I was so sad I told my husband if we don't get pregnant by june no more trying so hard and lets focus on my weight I am not happy with how I look and feel any more I just think once I drop at least 40 pounds and get healthy again it will happen sorry for the long story :( I hope this group helps me stay focused I know I can do this

Aw I am sorry for your loss... I think I did the same thing, with gaining weight and now we have having trouble on the hubby end (low count) but I was also told to loose 60 pounds b/c being over weight can throw off hormones and cause trouble ttc. Good luck!

I'm sorry for your loss :(
I was almost the same weight 2yrs ago, I was at 187 in Feb. I started eating healthier and getting on the elliptical everyday. I lost 43lbs by August. I initially wanted to lose the weight for my wedding, but the end of June of the same year we decided to ttc. I got my bfp sept 21st. My lil man is almost 13mos old now. :) but now I'm back to needing to lose 25-30lbs again from having him and other health issues.
Sorry didn't mean to ramble. Good luck to you!!

Aw, hun, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

I hope that focusing on the weight loss and letting nature take its course will be more fruitful for you!  Many women find they have better luck TTC once they've lost some weight.  The stress of TTC can really wear on people.  Big hugs!  Let us know if you need ideas- many of us have lost significant weight (105+ myself) without products or gimmicks, and are happy to share ideas and tips if you want them.  =)

yes weight can definitely effect ttc  I was 18 and weighed 135 when I had my son and we were not trying I got pregnant with him my senior year of high school and not that I am 27 and weight 197 it dont seem to be happening as quick as we want we have gone to a fertility specialist they tested me and hubby they said we are fine... so the only thing i can think of is my weight :( but we can do it.. I have used Cafe mom to support me while ttc and now I am seeking support for my weight i know I will get great support in this group as well I love this site:)

So sorry to hear about the miscarriage and infertility issues. I've been there. After my 2nd miscarriage, I decided that I wasn't even going to try until I had lost 20 pounds. That was the motivation -- my WHY, if you will -- to really stay focused on daily healthy habits -- eating and exercise. I was so anxious to try to get pregnant...but I wouldn't let myself try again until I was at my goal weight. It took 6 months but I did it -- and then I got pregnant again. I felt better physically and mentally than I had in a really long time! Good luck to you!
