ok so dieting for a week straight, down 4 lbs and pretty bummed.i know i need to do it slowly but i feel like it should have been more. still doing the shakes but eating as well. house is napping so i cant make a shake for lunch so i had a small yellow bell pepper, less than half a cucumber, 1 small tomato & some tuna for lunch. ill make a shake for a snack when they get up. did a walk this morning & will take one later. gonna see how the next week goes even with the holiday coming up.

Why are you upste about losing 4 lbs in ONE week?

That is amazing!   (My average is like 4 a MONTH!)

If you are disappointed by 4 lbs, you have unrealistic expectations imo.  Congrats on your weight loss :)

4 pounds in a week is awesome. I'd be happy if I could manage to lose 1 pound a week.

that is great!  i would be happy with any progress.  they say losing 1-2 lbs per week is best and what is safest.  that is what i have been told.   one person said that when someone loses alot in one week then it is usually water weight that was retained.   dont get discouraged.  you are doing a fabulous job!   I just weighed myself and I gained a pound.   not happy over here.

4 lbs is awesome. I lost that my first week. After that I had 2. You have to lose it slow or it just comes right back on.

Congrats!! Last week I didn't lose anything but I didn't gain either so I was pleased! This week I'm hoping to lose again!!
