why do people delete questions

I came back to someone quoting me in a question and I click it- the question is gone!

That's at least the 2nd time that's happened to me in here!

*I have no life- so I always go back and check on questions and such-both in groups and in answers... oh well

I'm guessing she didn't get the kind of replies she was looking for?

1 mom liked this

Sometimes it might be that it's that they get reported for something.  Were you looking at the one that wanted to lose 20 lbs in 2 months?  Her link was for her FB group, where she sells Skinny Fiber.  I'd quoted you to say that it was possible she could lose that amount, since she was 271 lbs, but it would be a stretch.  When I went to the link, just to see what it was, sure enough, that's what it was, so I reported it.

I get bummed when it's one I've been following where someone's getting all hot and bothered because we're not all about them using BBV and HCG and Atkins or something crazy like that, and it finally gets deleted!  I'm like, Aw, man!  LOL

I wonder that too...but I think it is usually because they don't like the advice given....

It's extremely high in unhealthy fats, and going without carbs isn't healthy for the body.  Plus, few people can sustain such a limiting diet for a long period of time.  It's better to go with something you can actually stick with for life, and with more balance.

If it wasn't deleted due to advertisement there are several reason why it could have been deleted by the poster. She felt embarrassed , didn't hear what she wanted , didn't want the post to get back to her ect....

I usually delete posts after a day or two in all of my groups. I honestly don't like having a lot of posts on the My Posts list. If I have an answer to my question I don't see the need to still have the post up.

I guess it's odd to *me* because in the other groups I've been in- they don't like people to delete their posts -and no one really ever does

No biggie...
