Whats the best way to figure it out? I'm not really sure. I can give my information if someone can tell me, I'd really appreciate it. Or maybe theres a site I can use that will figure it out?

I need your age, height, weight, if you are breastfeeding, and how many days per week you workout.

I'm 29, 5 foot 7, I weigh 247, I am breastfeeding my 6 month old DD, and I'm not currently working out. I'm getting a gym membership next week, and will be working out 3 days a week to start.

BMR: 1908+500 ( EBF)=2408

Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week ( since you are starting soon): 2408*1.55=3732

To lose 1 lb per week: 3732-500=3232

Your ideal calorie range is 2408-3232 calories per day while EBF and working out 3-5 days per week.

It sounds like a lot of food but be sure to eat that much and have your BMR recalculated every 5-10 pounds you lose.
