I can't believe I just thought this...

I am working on the 5k to 10k app and did 4-10min jogs with 1 minute of walking in between. I did it on the treadmill since we're leaving to go camping tomorrow and the jogging stroller is already packed. I ran most of the segments at a 5.5 and other than being slightly bored I felt like the run was EASY! When I started c25k I alternated between a 4.5 and 5 and that was ROUGh and I was only going for 1-2 min at a time!! It's amazing how far I've come since the end of may!

Totally bored on the treadmill but the Parks and trails outside made it much better.

That's awesome! Give me hope! I just started the treadmill and 4.5 is rough for me :-/ i hope to work up to something. I've never been a runner and my heart beats so hard it hurts when I try. Ugh

Slow and steady! I started with 60 sec of running and 90 of walking for a total of 20 min. Gradually increasing running time and decreasing walking time. Don't rush yourself! You can do it!!
