Flaxseed VS Flaxseed oil pills....

Went to my PCP yesterday - and she has suggested I switch from taking Fish Oil every day to taking Flaxseed Oil to help with my depression.  I also take 3000 IUs of Vitamin D every day  I have a bag of Flax seed that I occasionally put in my smoothies, etc... But, I need some other ideas how to use it.

So, at this point... I am going to finish using the bottle of Fish Oil pills I have AND start introducing the Flaxseed more into my diet.  Then, once the Fish Oil pills are gone, I will purchase some Flaxseed Oil pills.

You can add flaxseed to salads, sandwiches, omelets, etc.

I'd rather eat the actual food item than take pills.  JMO

Me as well -- I just need to figure out exactly how much flaxseed I would have to eat to get the same quanity as I would get in the pills.

I take the Fish Oil pills because I don't do seafood (except tuna sandwiches....).
