intro

iv never made an intro before so here goes nothing

hi im Liz,im almost 21 and i need a little motivation to lose weight,im going to be ttc baby number 2 in december and i want to lose at least 30 pounds(im 210) iv been walking around the block every morning for a week (except today,thunder storms) and iv lost 2 pounds so far :) so any tips or easy recipies would be great!(please and thank you for the recipies and tips)

thats about it i guess :) i cant think of anything else

Welcome! I'm not big on recipes. I just cook simple...grilled chicken with veggies most night. Sometimes quinoa, brown rice or pasta as well.

Welcome to the group! 

Here are my tips: 

Focus on eating whole sources of foods: lean proteins, tons of produce, tons of water, whole grains...

Incorporate strength training- you will build muscle, which burns calories at a faster rate. This enables you to burn fat faster. 

Incorporate flexibility training- we lose flexibility the older we get, so this is actuallly an essential component of health. 

I'll have to come back with recipes later...
