I didn't end up with as many miles as I wanted this past week...only ran 20 and wanted to hit 25, but that's okay:)  Definitely aiming for 25 miles this week!

Sunday - 5-6 miles

Monday - 3-4 miles

Tuesday - 6-7 miles

Wednesday - rest day

Thursday - 4-5 miles

Friday - 5-6 miles

Saturday - rest

Trying to keep 2 rest days in my schedule each week so I don't get injurred and I let my body rest.  Currently I'm just trying to increase my mileage again after not running for a few months.  I'm glad Brady is starting school this week so I can not only run on my treadmill but run on some trails too!  I'm aiming to run a full marathon in March, so I want to get my mileage up so I can really train this fall:)  I know I *should* be doing some strength training too but my heart's not in it right now...maybe it will get there but not at the moment:)

Thanks Darby! A tempo run is when you start off slow, then pick up the pace for a certain amount of time, then slow down again. So for a 40 min one I'll do 10 min slow, 25 min at 5k pace, then 5 min slow. You can measure in minutes or miles. The half training plan I'm on does it in minutes. It'll end up being about 4 miles for me :)

Change of plans:)  I ran 5 miles on Sunday, and I'm taking a rest day today.  My body is just tired and I need some rest!  Planning on some strength tomorrow (gonna do a little at least) and a long run as well!
