Ran a way too quick 2.65 mile with a friend on the base trails... Tonight will be a leg day at the gym or a bike ride. Depends on when my husband gets off today.

I have to ask... How do your ankles and knees survive? When I get to 7 or 8 I feel like everything hurts!!! My doctor told me to lose more weight and not run so much. But running is addictive.

I take rest days:) Typically I rest 2 days/week with NO running or anything. I also stretch a lot as well. My ankles don't ever hurt...but my knees hurt at times on longer runs especially since I do most of my long runs on trails with elevation/hills. I'm just very careful as to what I do the day after a run that's more than 6 miles.
