Alexis' Journey to Self-Love ETA: Measurements!
So I've finally gotten fed up enough with being fat and out of shape that I've decided to do something about it. I just turned 25 on the 10th and getting in shape is my present to myself. I am a single mom of an 8 year old and I need to be healthy and in shape not only for me but for him as well.
I'm tired of letting my weight hold me back and make me think less of myself. I want to be strong, confident and have high self-esteem. For me it's losing the weight which will help me to learn to love me more.
I don't have stats as far as measurements but I'll do those over time eventually. I currently weigh 176 lbs and I am 5'2. My goal weight is 125-130.
I started working out yesterday using a downloaded workout app called WorkOut Trainer and so far it's been amazing!! I worked out yesterday for 30 minutes and was sweating like a stuck pig and my heart was racing but it felt good.
My struggles are: PCOS, IBS, emotional eating and binging. I am working on not eating my emotions and trying to not be as stressed.
I'll be tracking on here daily and hope that it keeps me motivated!!
Took my measurements today (9/15/2013) and they are as follows:
Stomach: 41 inches
Right thigh: 20 inches
Right calf: 13 inches
Left thigh: 19 inches
Left calf: 14 inches
Chest: 44.3 inches
Right arm: 14 inches
Left arm: 14 inches (also I've noticed I have more muscle tone in this arm
