See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
Finally I made it to my goal!!!
I started my healthy lifestyle change exactly 1 year ago yesterday, and although I had several smaller goals, my ultimate goal (that I thought I'd never reach) was to lose 100 pounds with in a year.
Well, yesterday on my one year anniversary of a health lifestyle, I weighed in at exactly 100 lbs lighter then when I started!!! I made my 'unreachable' goal, with out a day to spare, but I made it!
Sorry for the rambling but I am just so excited that I actually did it!!!
According to the BMI charts I am still in the 'overweight' category by being exactly 23 pounds over weight, meaning that I would have to lose another 23 just to squeak in at the highest possible BMI for 'normal' and another 60 to be at the low end of 'normal'. This is why I hate BMI charts. I personally think that if I lost another 23 I would look sick, let alone another 60! I am happy with where I am, what I lost, and how I look. The hell with the BMI charts!!!
Before 268 pounds - After 168 pounds
*No special tricks or diets. I just made a commitment to myself that I was going to get healthy. I was in the right mind set, I ate only clean low calorie foods, drank lots of water, worked out for at least an hour a day, and used MyFitnessPal.
