In 2011 I lost over 100 pounds. I never actually plateaued, but I did slow down. It's crazy, but towards the end, as I slowly upped the calories the weight loss started to pick back up. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you saw the same thing. Just bump it up a couple hundred calories for a week or two, and see if you notice a difference.

Sounds like your metabolism has gone into starvation mode, holding on to every calorie it can. I have a friend who eats NOTHING practically and works out all the time, can't lose for anything. You need to rev your metabolism sometimes.

Are you taking a rest day? The body needs to recover. On rest day do something laid back- walking, leisure bike ride, play in the park with your kids.

Well I eat three meals and two snacks a day so I do eat. And I work out about two tot hree hours a day. But I am going to cut my workouts in half since several have said I am doing to much.

No I am not. But my main exercise is riding a bike so that is all I do on the weekends. But during the week I also do three days of arm legs abs.

Wow 2-3hrs a day! You are pushing way to hard. Have you tried HIIT training?

It sounds like you eat often enough but maybe not enough calories/fat/something. I know it sounds counter productive, but maybe you need to eat more a day or two a week. This keeps your body guessing, out of starvation mode and burning fat. That doesn't mean go crazy with food, just don't be quite so strict so that your system isn't trying to operate by holding on to every calorie it can wondering when the next fuel is coming its way. Our bodies are designed for self preservation and will store as much as possible in the event that food is not available (i.e. you get stranded for days or weeks with nothing to eat). I lost 35 lbs last year with minimal workouts (just some swimming and my job is active). I am able to maintain eating 2200-2400 calories a day, I can lose eating 1700-1900. But I eat bad some days and great others. I truly believe its because I keep my body guessing. I weigh myself every week, and if I have gained 3 pounds, I lower my calorie intake and its gone in 2-3 days.
