- Helps to reduce stress
- Helps to reduce the risk of heart attack, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes
There are many forms of cardiovascular exercise. Choose one that best fits your lifestyle and personality. Whoever said working out can't be FUN!
Outdoor cardio workouts: running, hiking, cycling, swimming and walking
Gym cardio workouts: treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, stationary bikes and any aerobic class
Home cardio workouts: dancing in your living room, vigorously cleaning and scrubbing the house, and a variety of videos online as well as at CafeMom Studios that you can use.
Whatever your cardio exercise of choice is, it is important to do it for at least 30 minutes a day, 3-4 times a week.
