AB-solutely Fabulous for Spring Challenge Day 2: Russian Twists, Side Planks & Walk/Jog/Run

Welcome to Day 2 of the AB-solutely Fabulous for Spring Challenge!

Make sure you post everyday after you have completed the daily exercises.

Here are today's exercises:

Russian Twists: 60 seconds


Side Planks: 60 seconds each side


Walk/Jog/Run 15 minutes


Here is today's clean recipe:

Spanish Scramble

Ingredients:

  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Pinch crushed saffron, optional
  • 1 tsp high-heat cooking oil (such as sunflower, safflower or grape seed oil)
  • 2 slices whole-grain bread, cubed
  • 1 zucchini, julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, minced
  • 1 plum tomato, chopped

Directions:

In a medium bowl, whisk egg whites, yolk, oregano, paprika and, if desired, saffron. Set aside. In a large skillet or seasoned cast iron skillet, heat oil on high. Add bread, zucchini, bell pepper and tomato and sauté, stirring constantly, until vegetables soften and begin to brown, about 3 minutes. Drizzle egg mixture over top and stir constantly until eggs are cooked, about 3 minutes.

 I am going to do these in a bit! I don't have any egg recipes since we usually just do scrambled with waffles or Frend toast.

Russian what?? Already did my run and workout which included side planks. But I'll give the twists a try! Brb

LOVE that you thru in a jog alot of people dont realize that jogging can be a great visceral fat burn.  Im going to go get the floor work done including adding yesterdays exercises in just to try to incorporate more and more everyday but I am going to have to wait for treadmill time since its extremely windy outside.  Getting this DONE Loving the ab challenge :)

2min of the twists did it for me! Lol! This was the first time I added weight and really felt the difference!
I really appreciate you posting videos. I would never know if I was doing the exercises correctly or effectively!!😁

Adding weight makes a huge difference! I am glad you are feeling it.

I decided to add videos with my last challenge to make sure everyone knew the proper form, not only for effectiveness but for safety as well. I am glad you like them!
