Slim Down for Summer Challenge Day 1: Let's Begin

Welcome to Day 1 of the Slimdown for Summer Challenge!

Make sure you post today below after you have completed the daily exercises.

Here are today's exercises:

50 Squats

45 Push Ups

20 Leg Curls

25 Leg Lifts

30 Crunches

20 Russian Twists

20 Jumping Jacks

20 Burpees

20 Mountain Climbers

Here is today's clean recipe:

Breakfast Burrito

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs, scrambled
  • 1 Tbsp shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup diced red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp salsa
  • 1 whole wheat tortilla

Directions:

  • Heat tortilla between 2 damp paper towels in microwave for 20 seconds. Remove from microwave and add remaining ingredients to tortila. Roll up and enjoy! Makes 1 serving.

Can i do the buritto for lunch lol? I had breakfast already.

And of course it had to be leggs! I hate legg day! Lol

This couldn't have come at a better time. I slacked off the last 2 weeks being busy with easter and things. Doing this as soon as my daughter goes down for her nap! Just getting back into it, this will be my workout for today, if im lucky tho I plan to get on the tread mill later. Its raining so can't get my outside walk in.

I eat nreakfest most mornings. Some days im just not hungry. Ate a banana this morning for something small. Recipe sounds good, will use green pepper tho instead of red.

 I use to skip breakfast because I am so busy in the morning with getting the kids ready for school, bring them to school, and then coming home to clean and work. Sometimes I would grab a snack before lunch.

I've made time here lately to get that extra meal.

Well darn, I'm gonna start day 1 tomorrow cause I'm 7 hours ahead of US Central time. Breakfast was 9 hours ago. Lol

 wow..... Talking about being out of shape. :/  Did 30 Squats and 20 jumping jacks and my knees are tightening up on me. smh, I so need to work out everyday.

How is everyone else doing?

Not a breakfast burrito fan...but the workout looks great! And with today's wind and rain, I needed an indoor workout. I'll do these tonight!
