Slim Down for Summer Challenge Day 2: Track Your Workout!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Slimdown for Summer Challenge!

Make sure you post below after you have completed the daily exercises.

Here are today's exercises:

50 Push Ups

Planks - 60 seconds


50 High Knees

25 Jumping Jacks

Wall Sits - 30 seconds

15 Tricep Dips

Here is today's clean recipe:

Blueberry-Walnut Power Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • ¼ cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • ¼ cup sliced banana
  • ¼ cup nonfat yogurt
  • ½ tablespoon chopped walnuts
  • ¼ teaspoon chopped fresh mint

Directions:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

 I will be doing these exercises tonight.  had a lot of fun doing the exercises from yesterday.  felt really good to get my heart rate up

Doing the excersizes yesterday before a 5hr shift at a newjob wherenyou dont sit down...bad idea! Lol my leggs are jelly

Done with the pushups, but baby is awake, so I'll get the rest in a bit.

I'll be doing these when I'm recovered. I'm so excited to get back to exercising again.

My favorite smoothie recipe is

1/4 cup coconut milk
1 Tbsp honey
1/2 cup frozen fruit (blueberry is my fav)
1 banana
1/2 tsp real vanilla extract

Blend (add water or more coconut milk if needed) and drink

I had ice cream for lunch so doing these made me feel better about my bad decisions... I like feeling my heart beat faster and my muscles hurt a bit after yesterday which is nice.

I'm always a day behind.. I work out in the morning. So these will have to be part of my workout tomorrow

I like a fruit smoothie with frozen mixed berries
Strawberries banana and whey protein

 I'm all finished..... I did however modify the push ups. I will be working on them more later on today.

Getting up this morning from yesterdays workout I was so stiff. Had to stretch a little to get me moving.
