Slim Down for Summer Day 27: Take it Up a Notch

Welcome to Day 27 of the Slim Down for Summer Challenge!

Make sure you post below after you have completed the daily exercises.

Here are today's exercises:

We are going to focus on cardio and core!

20 Minute Cardio Workout

8 Minute Non Stop Abs

Here is today's clean recipe:

Yummy Green Pops

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • ½ cup kale leaves, chopped, stems removed
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 whole pineapple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 ½ – 2 cups purified water

Directions:

  • Combine spinach, kale, bananas and pineapple in a blender or food processor; puree, then add water.
  • Puree a second time.
  • Pour into pop molds or small cups.
  • Add pop sticks and freeze.

Make sure you are stretching, doing at least 15 - 20 minutes of cardio and drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily!

Haven't gotten to it yet but I will give this a try later if I have energy. I went for a 3.5 mile run today and I'm getting ready to go for a 3.5 mile walk with the family, plus I have squats to do later. lol

WHOA this was a big change up liking it and appreciating the change the abs is an intense killer LOVE IT I avoid the juice based foods just because it hurts my stomach.  I wont lie I struggled a bit but made it

Done. Just did it in place of my normal 30 minutes cardio. Had the plus side of some ab work too
