Day 2 of my diet & I've been doing fairly good... However these headaches are killing me... I think it's from eating a lot less than normal & no caffeine.... Anybody deal with this? No meds are helping... :(

Excedrin migraine is the ONLY thing that works for me for really bad ones . But yes it could be the caffeine withdraw for sure .

Try magnesium - sometimes helps.

Totally agree that it could be the caffeine withdrawals.

Excedrin won't touch it...I think it's partly from hunger but also from caffeine... I'll try magnesium.

Is there any particular reason you're cutting out caffeine all together? I have chronic migraines so I've never totally cut out caffeine. Are you drinking enough water?

How drastically did you cut your calorie intake?

I still drink teas - just loose leaf and I don't add sugar. Black coffee with almond milk...make sure you're drinking enough water and if you're really hungry, eat something. Sliced vegetables, a boiled egg...even fresh popped popcorn (air popped, not microwaved) might help.

There is no need to go cold turkey on caffeine. I drink a lot of caffeine. Every morning I drink two large cups with a splash of organic half and half and coconut palm sugar.

Most headaches stem from dehydration. Drink a lot more water, at least half of your body weight in ounces.

Getting off caffeine can be ugly. I know I had a good week of headaches. I've cut it out completely, mainly because I don't drink the acceptable sources of it (coffee, tea). Then again, I also don't have a problem with migraines on an ongoing bases. I don't miss it now. My energy just comes from my natural happy high! :)

My only caffeine I drank was soda & lattes... it's better I go cold turkey. I'm drinking at minium 40-50 oz of water a day. I've reduced my calories calories a ton but I'm still eating 3 meals a day with one snack....
