I will complete the Couch to 5 K in a week or two, my first 5 K is Sept. 13th. Do I go ahead and start the 10K training?

I did. I got to week 7 and just deleted C25K from my phone and put the 10K Trainer on.

I wasn't sure how to just program it to where I was, so I fast forwarded through every week until I got to week 7. I start week 8 (first 5K run) on Thursday.

The first 7 weeks of the 10K Trainer is C25K. Week 8 day 1 is your 5K run on C25K. 10K Trainer just continues in from there to day 2 & 3.
