Welcome to day 16 of the Summer Weight Loss Challenge!

Don't forget to snack!

Who would've thought that snacking between meals is actually GOOD for your weight loss.

Here is why snacking is important:

  • Snacking can prevent you from overeating when it comes to mealtime.
  • Intense hunger can cause you to choose less healthy options at mealtime
  • Snacking keeps your metabolism constantly running
  • Small frequent meals, rather than 3 large meals a day, mean your blood sugar remains steady
  • Snacks are fuel for your body between meals that provide you with energy, so opt for healthy options like fruits, veggies and nuts

I try to eat something every two hours. Usually I snack on raw almonds or some type of fruit.

Yes, I do snack. Usually nuts or rice cakes with nut butter

I try to snack often but sometimes at work I forget if I'm too busy. I am good about it at home though.

I am supposed to snack, but I rarely do. I just have a hard time making myself eat during the day

I eat two protein snacks per day about 2 hours after breakfast and again 2 hours after lunch.

I snack mostly on fruit occasionally on nuts or raw veggies. It does help with keeping me feeling full between meals so I'm not reaching for anything like chips or candy

I do. My blood sugar likes to suddenly drop. I try to keep small amounts of sugar foods I. My purse bother than that I love fruit b
