Who would've thought that snacking between meals is actually GOOD for your weight loss.

Here is why snacking is important:

  • Snacking can prevent you from overeating when it comes to mealtime.
  • Intense hunger can cause you to choose less healthy options at mealtime
  • Snacking keeps your metabolism constantly running
  • Small frequent meals, rather than 3 large meals a day, mean your blood sugar remains steady
  • Snacks are fuel for your body between meals that provide you with energy, so opt for healthy options like fruits, veggies and nuts

I don't snack as much as I used to but I still do.  Granola, fruit, dried fruit, nuts, things that make me feel like I have a solid snack when I need one are best for me.  I track what I eat through an app on my phone and that really helps.

I do try to snack especially when im at work. I usually snack on some granola bars or fruit or cheese.

I snack but I need to get better at it. I usually eat fruit but then I feel like I'm eating all day which doesn't help me mentally.

I've been on Nutrisystem for almost a week now, and the plan includes 2 snacks. In the mornings, I might have some fruit, and in the afternoon, my favorite snack is hummus and plum tomatoes (I like to dip!)

I'm not diabetic, but I do get weak and very cranky when I'm hungry and my blood sugar gets low.

apples and carrot sticks are my favorite snacks though. I also love hummus

I eat like a baby. I'm actually trying to stop eating fruit so frequently during the day so I'm drinking even more water. My teeth were starting to suffer.

I do dnack. I mostly snack on fruit, but I also like cheerios, nuts and graham crackers too. And occassionally chips.
