Summer Weight Loss Challenge Day 19: Clean Your Closet

Welcome to day 19 of the Summer Weight Loss Challenge!

BELIEVING you will succeed in your weight loss journey and fully committing is half the battle!

We are committed to clean eating, now it's time to commit to cleaning your closet!
What better way to show confidence in yourself than to lose your safety net.
By safety net, I mean 'the fat clothes'.
We all have them in our closets. "Just in case" we gain weight. "Just in case" we don't succeed.

As you lose the weight and get healthy, don't give yourself an excuse to slip back into bad habits. Don't use too-large clothing as a crutch in case you gain the weight back.

Go through your closets and drawers and get rid of anything that is too big for you right now that you haven't worn in a while.

Donate them to a womens shelter, local charity or church.
Sell them online or have a garage/yard sale.

Do you have 'just in case' clothes?
If so, why are you still hanging on to clothes that are too big?
Will you take up the challenge and get rid of these clothes?

I actually toss all "safty" clothes around 6 months after they no longer fit.

Most of my clothes are baggy and that isn't cuz I'm fat, but cuz I have always worn that even when I was skinny.

I've already gotten rid of my clothes that are too big. I've also got one smaller pair of pants I hope to fit into soon

I try to discard clothes once they are too big. I have lots of smaller ones that I plan to get back into.

I actually went the other way.  As I got bigger and bigger over the years, I finally admitted I'm just going to be fat and got rid of my small clothes.

Of course NOW I've lost 28 pounds, 3 pant sizes (almost 4!) and now I have nothing to wear that fits, lol.

Once I hit my goal weight, I will get rid of my fatty clothes.
