Portion Control

Hi everyone. I haven't been around for a while because I kind of fell off of the wagon for a while. I managed to gain back every pound that I had worked so hard to lose and then some. I am now back on track and down 10 pounds again since I restarted.

One of my biggest hurdles has always been portion control. No matter how many times I read the proper portion sizes I can just never remember it all and I would either have to look it up to double check befoe every meal (which gets old fast) or I would usually just guess. I eventually ended up printing off a paper to hang on my fridge which helped a lot for meals at home, but eating away from home was still a struggle. 

A few day ago I ran across these printable cards that you can carry with you. I printed them off and laminated them and they have helped so much already. I just had to share.

One sure fire way to eat smaller portions is to eat dinner off a lunch plate.
