So I recently was put on Implanon for a second time, a few years back I had it implanted and it gave me my period for months at a time. I decided to have it removed to investigate other methods but was unsuccessful with that. I have recently just went off to college and decided to give this another try. It was working great for a few months normal periods with very few symptoms. Then 3 weeks ago when I expectedly got my period, it contiued on for 3 weeks. Over the course of 3 weeks my cramps have intensified and my breasts are so tender that it hurts to wear a bra.I have not slept with anyone recently and when I do I get routinely checked. For the meantime before I can get into a OB-GYN does anyone have any advice or recommendations? Anything helps. Thanks

I had the same problem with Depo Provera and with one of my IUDs.  There isn't much you can do, other than pop Midol and move to get the gas crampiness (not just in your GI tract) out.  Your physician may check your hormone levels.
