Dizzy Feeling

I just did a short workout with my daughter. It was the first time in a while that I have worked out. Now my head is so dizzy. I'm ok if I'm sitting down or laying down, but when I get up I get dizzy. My usual exercise of choice is walking, but with the crappy weather we have, and an unruly toddler, I thought I'd try to get on a bit of a routine with indoor workouts. But not if they're going to make me feel like this. What's going on? If it matters, it was a leg workout.

I probably sound so stupid asking this question, but I'm new to this.

Have you eaten anything? Since you haven't worked out in awhile and all of this is new and you are running around chasing babies, you might need to eat.

Eat or drink if you haven't already.

Otherwise, your body needs you to start slower.  My aunt, a retired nurse, would say your heart isn't keeping up with what you just did.  Breathe deeply and get up more slowly.
