what are some good things to drink? I can't stand water, even tried flavored and could not find anything I liked

Yes water is the best for you and your body needs it. I was like you and hated water. I went from drinking sodas to Gatorade but still that wasn't good enough so I had to make a decision to force myself to do it and after several days of forcing myself it wasn't so bad. Now all I want is water. I don't drink anything else unless it is milk like once a week or I drink some alcohol.

Plain, unsweetened tea. I’ve also found that when I’m really craving soda, sparkling water with a splash of 100% unsweetened juice will hit the spot (it’s usually the carbonation I’m actually craving)
