Glazed Cinnamon-Raisin Biscuits

I think this would be a really good recipe with a fluffier biscuit.

What you need:
Biscuits:

  • 2 1/2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Vanilla Glaze:

  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp. warm water
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Heat oven to 450. Combine biscuit ingredients until a soft dough forms

On a Bisquick-dusted surface, knead the dough into a ball, about 10 times. Roll out 1/2-inch thick and use a biscuit round to cut circles out of the dough.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.*

Beat glaze ingredients together and spread over warm biscuits.
Recipe from Betty Crocker

*I may or may not reduce the oven temperature next time because my first batch burned before 8 minutes hit and for my stove, that's weird.
