Is there a post on here where everyone posts their blogs they use for affiliate marketing?
I am looking into this as an option and, the way I understand it, basically in order to start after you have chosen your program(s), you start a blog and just keep it current (Facebook and Twitter direct traffic to your blog). I have never blogged, save for an online private journal for a couple months. What am I missing (other than all the tips to drive more traffic to your site) in order to get started?
What sites do you use for your blogs? How many programs do you belong to? What is your monthly income from affiliate marketing? I have identified programs I want to start with. Do you write about the companies, or write about current topics, or both? Do you use AdSense and can you use it in conjunction with other programs? It looks like there are some "clearinghouses" for affiliate programs (e.g. CommissionJunction).
I'm not even sure what to ask... I figure as much time as I spend on CM BSing, I could probably use that time to make money instead, and I really need to as I am about to lose my unemployment. DH is self-employed making a living on eBay (he is awesome at it) and inspires me that I can be self-employed too.
I do not want to do telephone or in-person sales, I do not want to spam people. Is this realistic?
Thanks so much... I will use all the advice I can get, and of course will use one of y'all for referrals on the programs that interest me.
