Getting ready in the A.M.

To women with 2 year olds how do you take a shower in the mornin and have time to put on makeup, do your hair, and all that good jazz???

I have 3 kids. A 4yo, almost 2yo, and newborn. It isn't easy getting ready when your alone but I normally will put on some cartoons that I know they will watch and go get ready. I have learned to shower fast and then get dressed and whatever else I need to do to get ready in about 30-45 minutes. Then I get my kids ready for wherever we need to go.

I have a 4 year old and a newborn. I put the baby in her swing, cartoons for the toddler. Shower quick!

Mine are 3 & 4 (almost 5). I feed them then put on cartoons & put the 3yr old in her crib and let her watch from there so she doesn't get into anything or get hurt. Take my shower & do whatever i need to get myself ready.

All these ideas sound great if I could get her to watch cartoons and as for puttin her in her crib....well she knows how to climb out!!! =-/

I do it when they're still asleep or napping.

I normally end up getting so frustrated that I just blow dry and straighten my hair at night when my girls go to bed and as for makeup well that is almost none existant anymore!! lol
